Does a heel spur dissolve with treatment? Essentially, no, it will not dissolve with treatment that we provide at our clinic. The treatment that we conduct is to minimise pain the correlating symptoms located a few mm in front of the heel spur. The heel spur is a bone so the way to remove it would be by surgical method. We generally would not recommend this method as it can flare up the area or result in increased pain.
It is important to remember that generally the pain is not being caused by the spur itself
