Will a heel spur disappear on its own?
A heel spur is unfortunately permanent. Just like any of the bones in our feet they don’t just disappear on their own so a bony heel spur won’t be any different.
Although a spur won’t disappear that doesn’t mean that it can’t increase in size. Heel pain can often make the heel spur bigger, this is typically caused by the Plantar Fascia. Wolfs law basically suggests that bone remodels and grows under stress or force applied to it. Such stress that the Plantar Fascia places onto the heel bone will result in further growth as a result
